Believe it or not, many of my positions have changed over the years. I use to be a neo-classical microeconomist, but not so much anymore. I use to think the Fed was necessary. I eventually sobered up. I use to think tax cuts and low interest rates were good, and increased government expenditures were bad, but now I believe there is no difference in the three policies. I use to think pro-business policies were good and pro-labor policies were bad, but now I know both are bad because neither are pro-free markets. I use to think high gas prices were bad, but not anymore because price is a powerful signal. I use to think illegal immigration was bad, but now believe it is good provided the welfare state is rolled back. WORST OF ALL, I use to think Republicans were good and Democrats were evil, but now I know that Republicans are Repukeians and Democrats are Democraps. After all, if you believe in freedom and liberty, you are neither a Republican nor a Democrat.
