Believe it or not, this is one of the most valuable pieces of Barbie clothing in existence, the Gay Parisienne dress from 1959. Found in a suitcase in the rents back bedroom (The Office, but hasnt been used as one since about 82), full of other Barbie stuff (several Kens, Barbies in pieces, bodiless heads, Midge, Skipper bits and bobs etc.) -- most of it worthless 70s crap, but this piece was inherited from an older cousin born in the mid-50s. In mint condition, and with the rest of the ensemble (missing, but included a stole, hat and gloves) its worth around $1000.00. Dress alone worth about $600. This one is missing the top bow, so worth nowhere near that, but in otherwise decent condition. Selling it on Ebay, so well see how much I get. Fun!
