Bell & Ross to participate in #MEBA 2014 on December 8th-10th Persuing its expansion in the Middle East market and after a successful presence at last year’s Dubai Air Show, Bell & Ross, the reference in aeronautical watches, is pleased to be a part of the sixth edition of the Middle East Business Aviation (MEBA) exhibition. Attracting new participants from all over the world, MEBA is taking place at Dubai World Central (DWC) from December 8th-10th 2014 and for the first time, the luxury watch brand will join in this next major event on international business aviation’s calendar. 2012 saw the largest number of people attending in its 5 year history with an increase of attendees from the Indian Subcontinent and North Africa, while this year’s biennial show will have 50 aircrafts on static display, more than 400 exhibitors and is expected to draw more than 8,000 visitors. Under the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum - President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman & Chief Executive, Emirates Airlines & Group, the MEBA, organised by F&E Aerospace on behalf of MEBAA – Middle East & North Africa Business Aviation Association, now brings together leading players across the full spectrum of the industry, from chartering, leasing and selling to purchasing, operating and servicing business and VIP jets. As the only show in the region dedicated to private aviation, Bell & Ross naturally participates in this major event, according to its origins and its first inspiration: the aeronautic. It is an opportunity for guests to discover some of the most exclusive watch models of the brand such as the Vintage BR126 Sport Heritage GMT & Flyback, a tribute to the civil aviation of the 1960’s or the new BR-X1 that recalls the NASA’s experimental projects and the first rocket plane to break the sound barrier in 1947, the Bell X-1. An inventive, high-tech watch, with haute-horlogerie finishes and extreme lightness thanks to its rare skeleton chronograph movement and a combination of materials. In addition to the main exhibition, the event will feature all the latest business jets on the market, as well as a conference focusing on the latest trends and issues in business aviation.
