Beloved Master Morya came today for a replay of Dictation from 1997 titled, Follow My Hearts Tone to My Retreat. It is an early Dictation, shortly after the founding the new outer organization for the Brotherhood of Light, that being The Temple of The Presence. This Dictation is also one of the gentlest tones that this Master has ever used, so it may be a chance for some of you to hear Him in a new Light...that being those who are only used to Him in His Fiery, Strong Energy in the past. The music He used in this Dictation is Alexander Borodins composition, In the Steppes of Central Asia, (in literal translation from Russian, it would be, In the Steppes In Central Asia.) This piece is what is known as a musical tableau, or a symphonic poem. This term refers to music that is typically continuous and tries to depict through music, the content of poem, short story, novel, painting, landscape, or some other non-musical source. Symphonic poems can compare in scale and size to symphonic movements in other compositions, or even entire entire symphonies, it is differentiated in that it does not follow the usual patterns of form that other pieces do, such as sonatas, concertos, etc. This work by Borodin was originally intended to be presented as one of several tableaux vivants to celebrate the silver anniversary of the reign of Alexander II of Russia, but that didnt work out after the assassination of the Czar and his family. The work is dedicated to composer Franz List. With Love
