Below is a personal message that we received from ISVS member, Dr Nadeem Ahmed Siddiqui from the country of Pakistan. You will find his comments most interesting and of course, motivate you to join our society today. I would like to share my experience regarding the ISVS fellowship training program at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Without any shadow of doubt, these three months have brought me a new horizon of understanding in different aspects of vascular surgery. It had helped me a great deal in understanding of principals of endovascular skills, which was my prime objective for this fellowship. In our country (Pakustan) we have very limited endovascular facilities. I definitely consider this as a first step forward in the establishment and implementation of modern endovascular techniques and skills. So thank you for giving me the opportunity to attend this wonderful fellowship, I would like to extend my thankfullness and gratitude to ISVS (as you were the first one to guide me towards this) and all ISVS council board members. Without your support this journey would not be possible. Last but not the least, i would like to thank Dr Avgerinos, all teachers and colleagues at UPMC for their never ending support, kindness, sincerity and love. I wish them all the good luck and blessings in their life. In last, i would like to give just one suggestion. I think this excellent fellowship can become a priceless opportunity with some added touches of additional hands on experiences. I understand that there are hitches and hurdles to it, but i also believe in the ISVS team, who have every capacity to overcome these problems. So in concluding this message, i wish that the ISVS continuse to take the lead in providing opportunities like this one to under previlidged colleagues and other societies to be able to excel in vascular surgery and make the world a better place for mankind.
