Below is the great shoot-em-up Hard Boiled from 1992 by John Woo in Hong Kong. Sam Peckinpah invented the shoot-em-up with The Wild Bunch. John Woo took it to a level that is now copied all over Hollywood (since, say, Hard Boiled and The Killer of John Woo came out).
