Ben update: The doctors believe Bens intestines are in a state of ileus - which basically means they are not working at all. This is the cause of his bloat, and they are looking into reasons behind the blood coming out of his JG tube. According to them, this is a temporary state and in most cases corrects itself in time. They will continue to monitor intestinal movement in Ben with CTs and X-Rays to check for movement, and also to ensure no blockages form. There is no time frame for how long it could take for them to continue working normally again - basically a day by day thing. They do have his Gastric tube hooked up to an independent drain to try and reduce the amount of fluid making its way to his intestines.
