Ben’s Tearful Melody A Church Side Reverie by Ted Frances I am sorry for all that I did to you during a lifetime which can only be described as grey, Your heartfelt message of forgiveness matters more than I can ever say, For it is now time to get out of that wheelchair and proudly walk through the churchs wide open doorway. I still have some things to work out and will be staying for a while, Spending an eternity reminiscing of my beautiful daughter and enigmatic lifestyle, Only when we are in peaceful harmony may our companionship be evermore thriving beside the churchs main aisle. You were a great number one my dear friend as the islands head protector, We touched many lost souls in desperate need of a caring and loving onlooker, Beginning with the reunion of Desmond’s family as he finally said farewell to being the islands damned prisoner. As I remain outside the church absorbed in my boundless forethought, My heart and soul endlessly ache for all of those I deeply hurt and unwisely fought, For the cold night stays with me as I dwell in an afterlife consumed with heavy distraught. My precious Alex, I do not ever expect any forgiveness or to be welcomed by your inestimable mercy, As I am solely responsible for this everlasting state of torment and intolerable agony, For I selfishly desired a twisted yearning for further power and total anarchy. My darling sweetheart may your memory always serve as a shining light in this baron bleak valley, As I will forever be thankful for our cherished earthly memories as a loving daughter and daddy. Dad, Your heart was in the right place when seeking a better life for us on the mysterious island, After what must have been an extraordinarily difficult choice to abandon our dearly loved hometown of Portland, For the Dharma Initiative felt like a rare opportunity with no reason in the world to ever be cautioned. I am so sorry that the final moments of your life were riddled with bewilderment while being painfully poisoned, For I selfishly embarked on the delusional life path overseen by a smoke monster who deceitfully and cold heartedly summoned. Following the passing of an age infested with hopelessness and unmitigated darkness, The triumphant arrival of delightful serenading music and a magnificent white light left me breathless, As its incandescent glory and affectionate warmth ushered in a sight of indescribable exquisiteness. I graciously stood up and excitingly marveled at what was now an unfamiliar surrounding, For the lonely night instantly transformed into a radiant daylight with a familiarity not so daunting, As the unexpected arrival of my beloved daughter and esteemed father ushered in a jubilant state of pure genuine loving. The redeemed union was finally made complete with our group of friends whose lives were fulfilled so gallantly, As we everlastingly joined their awaiting hands in a blissful scene of harmonized love that felt so heavenly, For no fear shall ever stand in the way of our enlightened souls as this faithful love continuously blossoms into all of eternity. -The End-
