Berni Russo shares his personal experience with Yoga teacher,Heather Morton... Heather Morton is a true gem. I was very fortunate to have met her in Toronto and study yoga at her school The Yoga Way. I had previously studied yoga at various schools with many different instructors but none compared to her. She is an amazing instructor and a wonderful human being. She is so passionate about yoga and it shows in her own practice and teaching. She truly cares about her students. No matter what level one is at, she works with them and doesnt give up on anyone. In my case, my fear has always been headstands. Heather was always by my side encouraging, guiding and allowing me to safely move forward in the pose as I became comfortable with it. She never criticized, didnt belittle only encouraged. From her I gained self confidence and respect for my body. I am very lucky to have been taught by her. She is the real deal; Dedicated and thorough. And even though shes not in Toronto anymore, I continue to practice with the help of her instructional DVD.
