Besides being a referendum on why Pufferfish Chris Christie will never be elected as President...seems his NJ style of gangster politics is remarkably similar to the bullying style of Chicago...it is also a look into some of the inner thoughts and workings of our politicians. One thing that stood out to me was Romneys off the cuff remarks to his staff about folks that were overwieght...poking fun at women they would see at rallies and walking down the street...that type of behavior disgusts me. Books like this make me wonder if there truly are decent politicians out there...on either side of the political fence. Even more stunning is another authors focus on the running mate instead of the candidate. It seems to me that this is the second Presidential election cycle in a row that the GOP has spent more time blaming the VP pick than chastising themselves for backing the wrong candidate. John McCain had no chance of winning in 2008, regardless of the runningmate...and Romney had an even lower chance of winning in 2013...regardless of the runningmate.
