Besides the issues that are raised in this review. I would ask everyone to give serious consideration to what I believe is a misplaced hope that media presentations like the Gods Not Dead movie are the answer to the problem of our youth or others abandoning the faith or being turned into skeptics by their professors. The problem is deeply rooted in the fact that while many say they believe in the sufficiency of Word of God, fewer and fewer actually believe that. The problem is that we have first of all failed by in large in the evangelical church to teach the whole counsel of God. Consequently, we have an entire generation, or two of biblically illiterate Christians. Secondly we have filled our churches with unconverted Christians due to the cheap grace gospel preached by so many and a failure to call for repentance and surrender to the Lordship of Christ. Thirdly, those young people see that far too many professing Christians do not really allow the Bible to be the sole and final authority, so those youth just do what they see their parents and other church members doing, namely allowing their opinion and personal feelings and experiences and mystical words from the Lord trump the Bible.
