Bessie Lou Weaver She was my dads companion for 9 years. He loved her so much. Today we put her to rest. She took her last breath with me laying beside her. Bessie was a pain in my butt. She loved to jump and play and always left a scratch somewhere on my body. Mostly legs, and mostly in the summer when I wore shorts. But she loved her daddy and she loved visiting the farm. The pond especially, and always after she had a good grooming and smelled good. LOL I would feed her Bologna before they would leave so she would gas my dad out. Then of course hed call me, yelling. Which always made my day. Haha. But she was family. Not just a companion for an old man. She was his best friend and a family member. We will miss you Bess. You are not suffering anymore girl. We love you.
