Best Beatles Covers (Part 1) - Those folks who really know me...know how much I enjoy Beatles music. Thanks to the internet, there is a very large supply of Beatles songs performed by amateurs and cover bands. Most of them are average, but man...there are some really good songs out there. Its fantastic to be able to enjoy the incredible song writing of the Beatles all over again performed by other very talented individuals. A good cover in my book is one that doesnt simply recreate the tune, but does something special and creative with it. Important to me is that it does maintain the integrity of the song and doesnt take too many liberties with it. Anyway...I have found some really good ones and want to share them with my Beatles Buddies out there. For fun, I plan to pick a couple versions of the same song and let me know which one you preferred. Tonight well start with the song When Im 64 which is hard not to like, although 64 seemed a lot further away when I first heard this. My apologies...Im not good at FB and will just post the videos separately. Enjoy!
