Chickens clucking in the yard and the rooster aint damn near crowed. Smell of bacon already in the air, biscuits baking in the oven... Get up out that bed, and BE SOMEBODY! In my teen years MommaRuth spoke highly of the Kennedys because in her long life she had never seen images like this with even a hint of concern or caring by a white politician for the lost, stolen tribes of Mississippi (black folk).
