Best live-action Batman generally goes tied to Keaton or Bale, in my opinion, with a second place going to West for being a perfect Silver-Age batman. Clooney for being a perfect Bruce Wayne, and Val Kilmer can just suck it for being a generally terrible Bruce AND Batman all at once. Well, at least he was not as bad as Lewis Wilson. I have no clue about Ben Affleck, though I have high hopes for him. I think he seems like a good choice, even if I think Batman v. Superman sounds like a terrible movie already. Live Action Batman: 1: Christian Bale / Michael Keaton 2: Adam West 3: George Clooney 4: Val Kilmer 5: Lewis Wilson Also, even though you didnt ask, I have opinions about best portrayals of Batman in animated features and cartoon shows. Animated Batman: 1: Kevin Conroy (Look him up, theres too much to list) 2: Peter Weller (Batman: The Dark Knight Returns) 3: Bruce Greenwood (Under The Red Hood / Young Justice) 4: Diedrich Bader (Batman: The Brave And The Bold) 5: Jeremy Sisto (Justice League: The New Frontier 6: Michael Ironside (Batman: The Animated Series: Legends of the Dark Knight) 7: William Baldwin (Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths) 8: Benjamin McKenzie (Batman: Year One) 9: Adam West (The New Adventures of Batman) 10: Gary Owens (Batman: The Animated Series: Legends of the Dark Knight) 11: Jason OMara (Justice League: War / Son of Batman) 12: Troy Baker (Lego Batman: The Movie) 13: Rino Romano (The Batman) 14: Olan Soule (The Batman/Superman Hour) 15: Anthony Ruivivar (Beware The Batman)
