Best movies of Ram Gopal Varma. No kidding! ift.tt/eA8V8J Ram Gopal Varma. What can we say about him that will describe him in a positive way? What can we say that will make us forget his eccentric behaviour and his mood swings and twitter fights and cold-heartedness? Well, nothing that we say can makes us forget the past but we can however show you guys some of his best works and appreciate the man for some while and forget his horrendous mistakes like Ram Gopal Varma ki Aag, Phoonk, Bhoot ooookay! Let’s stop right there! How about we take a look at some of the best movies of Ram Gopal Varma and appreciate the guy for once! Without judgement!! Rangeela Rang rang ranggeeeela re!! I don’t know how many people like this movie but I loved it! I was a bit young back then to bother with the technicalities of the movie like who made it or produced it or who wrote it. The movie was simple. Just a girl wanting to focus on her career and two guys falling for her. Being the good times that they were, the girl falls in love with her best friend who is also poor. But what can money buy right? So yeah, it was all about the pure notion of love and it made hearts melt. Satya Satya! I don’t know how to praise this movie or will I insult Ram Gopal Varma’s intelligence by even trying to praise the movie? Satya was one hell of a movie. It was a different genre and Ram Gopal Varma gave it to us all hot and spicy! Again, there was Urmila Matondkar’s dazzling smile but the movie wasn’t a love story exactly. It was about the dregs of Mumbai, the real estate businesses, the gang wars, guns, vasooli and murders. RAW. Shool If Manoj Bajpai was a mean ass baddie in Satya, then he is a self righteous, hard working police officer in Shool and does the role suit him? YES! The movie doesn’t start of with Manoj’s entry but first gives us a insight at the present situation and how the things work and how they system work (which of course is politically incorrect). Now, enter Manoj and see him fight for justice and see him put criminals and ill fated politicians where they belong. Company We were dying for dirty politics and like a blessing came Company. Bachke tu rehna re bachke tu rehna! This song perfectly explains the movie. Ajay Devgn does it for power and there are only two kinds of people in his world. The ones who obey him and fear him and work with him or under him and the second unlucky type who don’t work him nor do they obey him but get killed by him. It’s simple, either his way or the highway. Then comes Vivek and then he rises! Sarkar and Sarkar Raj This is definitely one of the best movies of Ram Gopal Varma. Agreed that it’s based on The Godfather written by Mario Puzo but hey, he at least gave Mario Puzo the due credit and didn’t claim the movie to be his real work. He gave full credits something which Aamir failed to do with 3 idiots. Back to Sarkar and Sarkar Raj. Amitbah Bachchan was nothing like Marlon Brando but he did take the word Godfather to an entirely new level. Best part was the climax of Sarkar Raj where he kills every single person involved in the murder of Shankar. Rakta Charitra 1 and 2 Revenge, is best served cold and in the underworld, it’s best served with a bullet in your head or in your vital organs. This movie again is one of the best movies of Ram Gopal Varma. The rawness and the point blank nature of the plot is what gets to the audience. We simply love Vivek in this movie. He has a better shot at Bollywood if he plays the bad guy instead of the usual romantic dude. Attacks of 26/11 No words to describe this movie. NONE. This is by far his best movie. Sometime I feel Ram Gopal Varma is like Sybil Trelawney (Harry Potter reference guys!!) Most of the times she is vague and absent minded and doesn’t a thing about what she does but suddenly she jolts up from her euphoria and gives you these spine chilling prophecies. Ram Gopal Varma however is a bit different. He knows how to handle his business but once in a while something hits him and he gives us these crazy masterpieces.
