Beth By Leah Thornton When I had her she was 8lbs 6 oz 20 ½ inches. She was my wonder of joy of lack of sleep She was a chubby chipmunk check child who could entertain herself by playing kitty or talking to Cookie her favorite stuff animal She is not a beauty of super model ideals she is a beauty to she has my ordinary brown hair, big beautiful brown eyes, freckles that sprinkle across her nose she is as pale as the snow but has an inner strength that says mess with me you mess with my world. She has a strong strength of who she is and what she wants and she will get it too. She doesn’t measure success in things she can get or buy but she sees her success in her friends who would anything for her, they ask her for advice they would do anything to protect her to help her is she asked. Where she got that strength I do not know. She has taught me to live life for me by giving me the strength to leave and move away by teaching me that I deserve to be respected and not for someone else. She never listens to what the world tells her is wrong she does what she wants and stands for what she believes is right. I sometimes wonder did I raise her to be this person or did she raise herself? She is an old soul for her young age of 21. She is an angel when she sings a storyteller when she writes an emotional artist when she draws. Who she got these talents from is a mystery to me? I used to say she was my right brained child living in a left brained world but she is more than that she is me but better.
