I am on my way to drop it all off and thought Id share a few photos of whats headed there to help occupy these kids minds while theyre in a bummer of a place. Thanks to my Dad who puts this into motion every year and gets the ball rolling on collecting donations and starting the shopping! Items include: 125 pairs of socks for all ages and genders (all have grippies per the hospitals requirements); yarn, knitting looms, crotchet hooks, knitting needles, finger knitting how-to book; rubber band looms and MANY bands; model cars and planes etc to build and paint; embroidery thread for friendship bracelets; stained glass (plastic) kits; cross stitch projects; latch hook rugs; a HUGE box of wooden crafts from Nanas (the photo doesnt do it justice but I wasnt willing to unpack it all for a photo) hundreds of things to paint in there!!; beading and jewelry kits from Debbies house. THANK YOU GUYS!!! I cashed out at two stores with full carriages for $400 and that doesnt include all the stuff Nana gave me, that would be hundreds more!
