Betsie is KILLING me today. She just has a song in her heart, I think, and, with or without anyone listening, shes been belting out some random homemade lyrics to some of our favorite tunes. First it was a potty song to the tune of There Must Be Something More (from Charlottes Web). Ill spare all the details, but my favorite part was I need to pee-pee with my neighborhood. (???). Then it was a repetitive chant of Mother Mary and Father Jesus to the tune of Come Thou Fount. Then it was This is the day, this is the day that the world has made, that the world has made... And THEN came the piece de resistance, a song she belted out at the top of her lungs whilst playing the piano. Here are the lyrics, word for word: The beautiful sounds...the beautiful trees...the music...the Bible...AMERICA!!! America, America, and the mountains and the city and America-a-a-a... I personally think the name of that last song should be All the Big Things. And also, I hope she never, ever stops singing from her crazy little joy-filled heart. :)
