Better Together my arse. Back in the 70s, oil was discovered in the North Sea. Two countries with about 5 million people each took very different approaches. Norway established a wealth fund on the profits, Scotland was told by London to send its profits South to fund England. Scotland now has the Red Cross distributing food parcels. Norways fund is now so huge, at $790 billion, it holds 1% of all the worlds shares -- and theyre worried that the fund isnt doing well enough!
