Better the Devil You Know After months of fevered speculation, Marvel has finally cast the lead for its Netflix-powered adaptation of Daredevil. Without further ado, the man stepping into Matt Murdocks shiny red booties will be Charlie Cox, who most of you will recognise from his starring turns in Stardust and HBOs Boardwalk Empire. The show will centre around the after-hours exploits of blind-lawyer-turned-vigilante Matt Murdock, who gains incredible sensory powers after taking a face full of radioactive waste as a child. The series is much loved by comic book enthusiasts, and takes a much harder line than Marvels other, more famous, properties. Daredevil is more gangsters, grit and grime and should provide a nice contrast to the colourful exploits of The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy. More info as soon as we get it!
