Between 2010 to 2012 I have been going to the House of Representatives. It was unfortunate that despite the help of friends my self-designed BIG Program is not compatible with the on-going PDAF-based ‘requirements’ of the congressmen. It was, however, through these visits that I got to learn the appalling details of this corruption. Since then, I had nursed a gnawing thought that if my few visits had informed me of such RAMPANT stealing, how come NOBODY in CONGRESS dared to expose this early on? Somehow, I have hoped that someone will, personally pegging on CIBAC (Citizen’s Battle Against Corruption) Partylist to have the courage. After all, it is JIL-strong and I believed that it has the integrity. Fully trusting, I have even placed my precious solo partylist vote on it. But my waiting has turned into this great big disappointment. Now, I just need to ask CIBAC and other Congressmen/Senators a few honest questions: One, you were quick to join nailing the Arroyo Administration for corruption. You flaunt about your participation in ousting SC Chief Judge Corona but where are you now? Corruption is corruption, but do you get to exempt anyone? Your silence is painful. Two, you are PUBLIC SERVANTS but who do you really serve? Make your choice…. It’s either the people, your colleagues or yourselves. Three, you have HONORABLE before your names. Congress is called House of Representatives, so by conscience, who do you really represent? Your next actions will tell me your answers. PLEASE! This is not the time to point fingers or mislead us. We are not stupid! You are accountable to the people. If you do not fear that then be reminded that you are accountable to your God.
