Between Allison Williams being cast as Peter Pan and the first images of the Into the Woods film being released, musical loving gaylords are going to have lots to say on the internet today. Here are my two cents: 1. She is far more up to the task than Ms. Underwood was. Would I cast her as Wendy over Peter? Yes... but I feel like its gonna be pretty entertaining! 2. Those images are beautiful! If you want to hold on and cherish the memories of the original Broadway production (we all love it) you can watch it online. This is going to be a different entity- not the show we all know and love, but its own Sondheim being... lets give it a chance. Excited and optimistic! Peace out.
