“Beware! Don’t always be wishing for what you don’t have. For real life and real living are not related to how rich we are” (Luke 12:15). One of the dangers of always wishing for what you don’t have is that, it has ability to rob you of the ability to be grateful and thankful. Okay, lets face it. You are sulking, moody and very unhappy because you have not gotten what you have prayed for; but what about those things you did not pray for but which are given to you on a daily basis. For instance, the gift of life, the ability to eat, walk, sleep, breath, sit, talk, etc, unaided? What of the good health, protection, deliverance that you just experienced? and so many other life privileges that you are enjoying? Oh, you think it is your carefulness, your ability or something you have done? Understand this morning that real life which is your worth is not tied to your material possessions which can vanish like a blossoming morning flower that withered at sunset. So, go about your routines with a right perspective of life and be thankful to God for all and everything. Good morning
