Beyond Boundaries I have read hymns to life, To be alone, To match my rhyme, I’ve killed time, To stand on the deadlines, I’ve heard songs of spring, With my bare eyes. I’ve chased and caught fireflies, With a faithless smile, Something cogent enough, To merge in my hollow pride, And I got a long life, To play with the tides, Like a knight safely directing, All his desires to hide, Just to face the light, Luminous like a virgin bride, Dressed in white. Now, I should better be off in the wild landscape of my beliefs, Where there is no big or brief fear, guilt or any grief, Only my soul to rely on, And my numb body to feel the relief, Taking you away within, And exiting your life like a thief. Don’t look for me, I’ll be there, somewhere, beyond the boundaries. © Bhagya Shree, 2013. All rights reserved. From my book A Silent Dream
