Beyond any doubt, being confined to a wheelchair (unable to walk) - TopicsExpress

Beyond any doubt, being confined to a wheelchair (unable to walk) has been tough, but it has taught me life lessons. One of those is to appreciate the value of the people that God puts in our lives or connects us with. Personally, my friends & loved ones have made my life much more simpler than it would have been. Theyve taken me to places where my legs could not (literary), carried me over rivers that I was not able to cross by myself, reached for me heights that my hands could not reach, ran races that I could not, fought battles that I could not etc…they made my life a fulfilling one. Through them my ‘disability’ was nullified. Of course, you may not be in my exact situation, but let me assure you that in your area of ‘disabilty’ (weakness, limitation) etc, those people that God has blessed your life with are more than enough to hold your hand through the storms of life! Love and appreciate them before its too late. Realise that it wasnt coincidence that brought you together. They are God given & theyre there for a reason!!
