Bible Fact: Paul was beaten five times and shipwrecked three times (2 Corinthians 11:24-25). † Let Me Love You † In this the love of God was made manifest (displayed) where we are concerned: in that God sent His Son, the only begotten or unique [Son], into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins. 1 John 4:8–10 AMP Each time I stumble the thought comes to me to turn back, why bother, you will never make it, it is too difficult, look at what you have done, you should be ashamed, you can’t serve God until you fix it…you are not good enough, God is mad at you. All of these are black lies from the enemy. Once you invite Jesus into your life, there is no more “sin problem” separating us from God. Jesus has paid for every sin that you will ever commit and if you say that you have no sin, you are a liar (1 John 1:8). We all do. In the beginning Adam and Eve listened to the lies of the devil and sided with him, disobeying God. Because of His love for us, God made a way to redeem us and gave His only Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sin. When you accept Jesus, He pays for your mistakes in God’s eyes with His own blood. To think that you can make it right yourself is a mistake. You are siding with the enemy and working against God. Serve God right now where you are and doing exactly what you are doing. If there is something in your life that needs to be fixed, rest assured that He will give you the grace to deal with it at the proper time. Don’t fall for the lie that you need to get your life together before committing to Him. Just surrender your life to Him and He will then help you get it together. When you put Him first, the other things will fall into place naturally. Share this on Facebook Yours in Christ, Dion Todd - Pastor/Servant
