Bible Meditation 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Rev 3:19-20 (KJV) Devotional Thought It is often we hear someone ask why so much suffering in the world. That is a difficult question to answer when someone is in the midst of suffering. May I say this, that the world is cursed with a disease called sin and one day that curse will be removed and our Lord will make all things new. Until that day when the redeemed are taken home to be with Christ forever, we will need to rely on the sure mercies of God who has loved us and given great and precious promises. If we lived in a world where there was only pleasure we would never call on God and that would be a much greater tragedy. There will be suffering until the last bit of sin is removed and Jesus Christ is crowned King of Kings and Lord of Lords and sin is forever cast into the Lake of Fire, but until then Jesus is the only way of salvation. Action Point Trust the Lord, and focus not on the suffering but on the Savior and the sure mercies of God.
