Pray for Church and Lives (3 minutes) During August we are discovering what our relationships within the church family need to look like. This Sunday we examined how our relationships within the church need to fuel us to take Jesus to those outside the walls of our church. Pray this week that FHBC would be faithful in taking Jesus to our community and not be comfortable sitting around waiting for everyone to come to us. Pray this week for the Students, Parents and Teachers. This week begins the new school year for Santa Rosa County. Students, Parents and Teachers will be involved on the greatest mission field in North America – the public schools. Pray that Parents will develop relationships with non-churched parents. Pray the non-churched parents would desire to change their lives to walk with Jesus instead of their own way. Country: Montserrat - The massive devastation caused by the volcanic eruptions in the late 1990s nearly destroyed Montserrat as a habitable island. It will never completely recover. Pray for a new start. With Christ placed at the center of island life rather than nominal Christianity, which largely prevailed in the past. Dyson) o Pray for my friend in the midst of trials with her marriage (anonymous) o Pray for my friend Tony as he undergoes heart surgery later this month (Kara) o Pray for Tesa Swindler and her two daughters, Ashlynn and Adasynn, who are both experiencing severe medical complications. Pray for their healing (Cassie) o Pray for healing of Amber Summers, 37 year old recently diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer (Nall Family) o Pray for Alexis Penton, pregnant, recovering from car accident last week.
