Bible Study of the Week: Now the Lord said to Abram, ‘Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. (Genesis 12:1) The story of Abraham is the story of every immigrant and political refugee. Leaving behind, possessions, family, friends, culture, and everything familiar in order to follow a dream of a better existence somewhere else. They leave with hope and they are often received with suspicion, fear and hostility. They have come to steal our jobs. They do not want to integrate our culture and values. They are too many. What would happen if the next time we will meet an immigrant of refugee, we see the face of Abraham?
