Bible study: Read James 1:2-6 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. (James 1:2-6 NIV) The testing of faith produces perseverance, perseverance will lead to a more mature and complete self, lacking less. Perseverance-steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. And if you lack wisdom? Wisdom-ability to discern inner qualities and relations. When you ask God for wisdom, it will be given if you just have faith and believe. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Matthew 15:28 Then Jesus answered, Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted. And her daughter was healed from that very hour. 1 Corinthians 2:5 so that your faith might not rest on mens wisdom, but on Gods power. Perseverance with faith will lead to many great plans that God has for you. If you lack the wisdom ask for it, if you have faith God will answer you.
