Biblical Standards - Today, as I look at the overall condition of the Church in America, Im personally saddened by the demonstration of ineptness when it comes to the application of biblical standards. Theres an apparent deficiency of accurate biblical knowledge and quest for righteousness. The choice to become a subculture versus the standard, I believe has gained much momentum because of lack of desire. When believers struggle over obeying and complying with basic standards like do unto other as you would have them do unto you, if you have an aught against your brother go to your brother or forgive so you can be forgiven, we have a serious problem. Christ offers a simple solution and cure for shallow Christianity in Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for the same shall be filled. People of God choose today to be filled with hunger for the things of God.
