Bicycle Wreck now almost 4 1/2 weeks in the past. My right arm to a great extent is my living here at the bookstore. Even with two braces on the right arm it is still impossible at times to lift a book, hold a pen, work the computer, drink from a cup, set-up and tear-down the back end for events, etc. Were I simply one of the workers here, I would have been off work for at least this past month. Right arm pain added to concussion has made it particularly tough. There are collections I am not able to get or process, and sometimes my mind is gone. With 19 years in the store, I am by default the initiator of most activity, and it has been quite frustrating. Through it the crew has done very well. Thank you to Meli, Nate and Nathan for your extra efforts and patience with the patient. Lets look to a really good late Summer ahead.
