Big Thank You to all the parents/ carers who ventured out last night to bring their children to the kids clubs... at the last count 63 children attended clubs which is amazing... but very busy!!! The news group did some great work last night, mind mapping all their ideas for Charlies plot, a planting and growing project that will take place within the community garden that they are leading. Some amazing thoughts on how the area could be made accessible for all our community members, and for creating an outdoor kitchen to demonstrate healthy recipes with their home grown produce. They also made some rather delicious pancakes for tea break!! :) Issue 3 of Hear Us will be with the printers on Monday, and hopefully ready for distribution next Friday... pick up a copy for some fantastic seasonal articles and ideas! Were still looking for another member of staff for the Wee Kids Fun Club (hours 5.00-7.30pm), ideally someone who would be keen to lead the team games and sports, and have a loud (but not scary!!) voice! It would also be great to have another male on the team as Conors feeling outnumbered! Sessional staff need to be self-employed and their rate is £9 ph. They also need to be a member of the pvg scheme, which we can help with, plus have or be willing to undertake first aid, food hygeine and child protection training plus other training as required. :)
