Big al, super cob! Extremely honest horse! 16.2 6 years old, working cob! Alfie is a big stunning lad, needing a full time job! Alfie came to me in a part exchange, with not the most experience under the belt but hes such a quick learner and has turned his hoof to everything with put him at! If you took him to his first xc, you wouldnt have an issue getting him round, he would do it straight away just of the fact hes a honest and willing horse and always trys his best to please! Hinted in Ireland, came to me with a mouth of steal, now able to ride him on a piece of cotton, holds himself lovely with a natural carriage and nice straight paces, huge rolling canter! Alfie isnt a kick along and be sensitive to the leg, as he isnt ridden daily with us I as Ive got too many so cant commit to riding him everyday he isnt reaching his full potential , can sometimes tense up a little but will never do anything, again only does it if left. Ive had alfie a few months now and keep being extremely reluctant to let him go, hes got ground manners to die for. We clipped him for the first time ever , behaved lovely but just kept doing the baby thing and kept twitching his skin so we gave him a bit of Sedalin just for that reason to help make the clipping easier, wasnt too sure about having his head clipped but never did anything naughty . The first time he ever hacked with us he went perfect, nothing fazed him and even took the lead ! I could go on and on about him all day as hes the gentle man any person would want, hes not just needing the forever home to settle and be loved, in no rush to sell, hes not expensive and yes in this case for real home is more important than price!
