Big day today for Rosemary! Today they removed her port! This coming Thursday we go to see the doctor about the maintenance program that will go for two years. From what they told us it is 1 pill per day, 1 pill a week and some sort of IV once a month. The IV is the thing in question as it supposed to be Vincristine, but that is what they think has caused the numbness in her leg. Dr. Solomon said that the 4 doctors were going to get together to discuss what to do. The great news is the last two labs that have been drawn came back totally normal. I guess I dropped the ball in failing to tell you that last Tuesday, the day after the bone marrow biopsy, Rosemary came down with shingles. The doctors told us that this is not uncommon for people that received as much chemo as she did. She still is a bit uncomfortable but she was back singing tonight at Stations of the Cross and she is planning on singing tomorrow and Sunday. It is so great to have her back in the group. We are also going to see CATs tomorrow night at BT. Once again thank you for all the prayers
