Big prayer request for Carson this afternoon. He is the dog pulled from a Georgia kill shelter in November 2013. Emaciated. Suspected bait dog. Severely heartworm positive. His teeth were ground down to square. Covered in fly sticks. He has been on slow kill heartworm treatment for a year because his vet did not think he could survive anything stronger. Finally he is healthy enough to be neutered. His surgery is at 2:30. Cross all your paws and say some prayers for him. He has a happily ever after ready when this last obstacle is out of the way.
