Big sewer project to start soon By SARA GEER The city of New Castle , Indiana is advertising for construction bids on the project. It involves the construction of an approximately 12,700 feet new 12-inch to 60-inch storm water pipe. Work on the 2014 storm water separation project is expected to begin next month.~~~The approximately $5 million city-funded project includes digging down to the Bowery Brooks sewer line on the northeast side. A new storm sewer line will be installed parallel to the wastewater line. The line runs from High and 27th streets, west along Spring Street toward Woodward Avenue and 12th Street.~~~
