Big thanks go out to Shauna Ross from Memorial Hospital and Winnie the Pooh from Believe in Books for stopping by the pool yesterday to add a CPR class and storybook fun to our Infant & Toddler swim. Water safety is a big deal. Knowing what to do in an emergency situation with a young child involved could save a life. Shauna was able to share her presentation while moms, dads, and young swimmers floated calmly in the water. Winnie Pooh brightened all the childrens faces. Abe and Gus just had to get a hug from the friendly bear. Thanks to Gerrie Beck for getting this together and to Erin Sweeney for being the bear. Were pretty psyched with the participation weve had in the Infant & Toddler swim program over the past three years and see todays added features as an effort to make it even better.
