Biggest Pro Bowl Snubs: QB: Russell Wilson has a 95.7 QBR, a good TD-Int ratio of 20-6, over 3000 yards passing, and over 800 yards rushing. Hes been a very good QB, and it leaves me wondering how he didnt get into the Pro Bowl. However, there were plenty of good QBs, and while that isnt much of a consolation for Wilson, he definitely had a Pro Bowl caliber year. HB: Justin Forsett has had a great year. With 5.3 YPC, 1147 yards, and 8 TDs on the ground, he has proven himself as a good HB at the very least. Again, this proves that the Pro Bowl is a popularity contest-Forsett has a better YPC and yards total than Jamal Charles. Im not taking away from Jamal, his injury definitely played a role in his stats, but I believe that Justin Forsett was completely snubbed. WR: Odell. Emmannuel Sanders. Alshon Jeffery. Golden Tate. All players that could have gone in for Megatron. The stats are there. Calvins had a down year and hes been held down by injuries, yes, but these players have rightfully earned their way ahead of him. Again, not knocking Megatrons skills, but these players have shown theyre Pro Bowl worthy. TE: Antonio Gates and Julius Thomas have some things in common. Each have 12 TDs on the year. Each play in the AFC West. But thats where it stops. Gates has 65-754-12 stat line where Thomas has a 43-489-12 stat line. Thats a huge difference. And the argument that Denver has too many good receivers, or that Thomas has been injured, or that Peyton has been off his game lately, any of that could work. But Antonio Gates has been royally snubbed. What players do you believe have been snubbed at these positions? What players should have gotten in and which ones got in because theyre just flat out popular? -GH2
