Bigotry is most definitely taught, not something someone is born - TopicsExpress

Bigotry is most definitely taught, not something someone is born with. I have always agreed with this statement but today I saw a classic example of it and it broke my heart. So I went as a chaperone to one of Morgans field trips today and we were sitting 3 in a seat on the school bus that took us. Sitting with Morgan and I was a sweet little girl who was in our group when I was a Chaperone on the last trip so she already knew me and was comfortable with me. She was a talker and was telling me about a very traumatic experience she had a couple years ago that resulted in emergency rooms and multiple Doctor visits and such.... Very animated with her gestures and the way she phrased things.... you could tell she was mimicking one of her parents, most likely her mother. As she is going off about a Doctor that they had dealt with during this time she refers to him as the stupid dot-head Doctor... .... *deepsigh* We wouldnt put poison in their food.... why oh why do parents put poison in their minds?
