Bill Hicks died before texting and driving was even a thing. I do remember a bit he use to do about distracted driving. He would start by saying men knew how to do many things at once while driving. Its in our dna. I can hold a hamburger in one hand, a large soda in the other, and operate the steering wheel with my toes. He would sit on the stool and act this out and it was funny. Then he would say, One day Im doing this and a lady pulls up along side me, we are driving side by side, and she does this. Bill acts out the ladys message. She takes a bite of an imaginary burger, does the imaginary steering wheel back and forth and then wags her finger as if to say NO. Bill looks at her and shrugs and mouths What? The lady does the same thing again and again Bill shrugs and mouths What? Bill starts to act it out a third time and stops and says Then she runs into a building! He does a loud explosion sound effect. This is my best recollection of the bit and I would pay money if they would run it in a movie theater as a public service announcement.
