Bill Maher in his movie questioning religion has many good points . It’s what Im also talking about, in many ways, as a Christian I am not a religion, and dont take the bible literally! We must be in Communion with the spirit of Christ, it’s not a business, it’s a service and a way of life in Spirit. On another level Dear Bills questions are from a naive point of view, not really understanding true Theology, one can simply tell by his questions. The bible must be read and interpreted in Spirit reality, not logical worldly reality, for the unseen spirit, unless experienced, Spirit seems to be a crazy notion. St Paul says There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. The bible also says the law is but a shadow of truth not the reality it self. In Matthew 13, the disciples asked this same question of Jesus in verse 10. He answered, The knowledge of the secrets of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. This is why I speak to them in parables, though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand (Mat. 13:11,13).
