Bill Murray candidate for Mayor of Cumberland had a busy past week. Starting last weekend he attended the Local Parks and Recreation Fishing Derby. Even with the poor weather ( Rain and Cold) many young fishing children enjoyed casting for many fish recently stocked by the State. This was all put together by our Recreation Director Mike Crowley and run by volunteers headed by Roger Gauvin. On April 30th Bill attended the Cumberland Police Cadet school to hear a very interesting talk by an FBI agent from Boston that was very involved in the Boston Marathon bombing and his involvement with the mob in New York and New England. The week ended with a visit to BF Norton School and their first Science Fair. A great job was done by the students and teachers with the students demonstrating how they researched and put together their presentation. Many thanks to the PTO and Jennifer Bernardo for the invite.
