Bill messaged this page yesterday with a concern about a show debuting Sunday Called Salem, the clips for the show appear to portray Witches in the typical negative way usual to Hollywood. Why does the media still cling to these horrendous stereotypes, dont we deserve the same respect afforded other religions. Well I guess the truth is, we dont own the word Witch. Many pagans have chosen the title Witch, knowing its negative history and still wear it proudly, so should we be offended when TV shows portray us as evil, curse casting, serial killers. I honestly dont know, does it tick me off, absolutely, but are we taking ourselves too seriously? After all, did the sopranos make you hate Italians? What do you think?
