Billy is one of the relatively few shrimpers that we are fortunate to have supplying seafood to our store. Billy has been in the shrimping business for many years. I caught him coming in this afternoon after a long day on the water. His day begins before most of us wake up. He braves whatever the weather throws his way. Today it was rain and lightning mixed with heat and humidity. But you wont hear him complain. Even days like today, when the shrimp didnt bunch up like he had hoped, he keeps on keeping on. Rising costs to keep his boat on the water make it difficult to make a living, but he, like most Americans, does what he has to do to put food on the table and pay bills. We at Boyds One Stop cant begin to tell you how much we respect Billy and the other hard working shrimpers that support us. Without them, we would be out of business. My little video is just a few moments captured from Billys day. The next time you are shopping for seafood, look at the package and see where it comes from. Ill say one thing in complete confidence, if you get seafood from Billys boat, you can be sure it is as fresh as it can be. Please share this if you support our hard working shrimpers in America.
