Binxi just fell asleep in my lap for the first time ever :) Im over the moon! I was trying not to breath as to not wake her up, she even poofed on me but I didnt care. I nearly cried with happiness. Me and Binxi have always had a very special bond but now its gone to a whole new level. Its an amazing feeling knowing that an animal trusts you enough to come up to you, ask you to pick her up (she always either stands on my foot with one of her paws or will sit on her back legs and place both her feet on my leg and look up at me when she wants to be picked up) and then lay down in my lap on her own accord and have a snooze then wake up, groom herself and then find a new position to have a sleep in. There are so many levels of bonding in all realtionships (human and animal) and Im so grateful to be able to experience a deeper bond with Binxi now.
