Bio Born 1971 Bristol I started writing poetry twenty three years ago, started sending poems off to magazines publishing poems in Connections a London based magazine which published several poems of mine, including Captain Fox ( Later renamed The Clever Fox) and Resurrection of times long gone, the editor of that magazine was Jeanne Conne she would write me long hand written letters, on how i could approve, a wonderful person who i met some years ago, sadly she had to stop the magazine due to ill health. At that time i also had poems published in First Time magazine, who also published The Clever Fox and Statue of Bacchus. I continued to write and get published in various poetry journals/magazines like The Ugly Tree, Monkey Kettle, Seventh Quarry, Carillon, Decanto, whete i was centre stage poet in one issue, I was invited to read at Edinburgh Fringeby Understanding magazine in 2006/7. I judged a poetry competition for M:/P magazine who also published a poem ofmine called The cursed water Hermaphrodite, I continue to get published in many magazines today duch as Turbulence, Sarasvati, The Dawntreader, and have been published in the last three issues of Roundyhouse magazine. I had my first collection published last year, called Making adjustments for life expectancy the first print run sold out and the second print run is now available online and at Hydra Bookshop where i run a Spoken Word evening called An Evening of Spoken Indulgence, with the success of this evening we will be launching a HydraZine a collection of poems from these evenings. Im currently writing and editing my second collection called Notes from a Dystopian memoir, a collection of forty six poems with the title poem being a twenty two poem sequence.
