Biodiversity-offsetting is the new marketing language used by the timber industry and commercial developers who are killing the last remaining ancient forests of this earth.... This biodiversity-offset is not only mathematically impossible and morally bankrupt, it is an intentional strategy used by industry for the purposes of greed, and power-over the land. Likewise, Green Energy is a commonly used as a dishonest euphemism for fossil-fuel derivatives, which are not green and in fact can introduce even worse emissions. Clean Coal and Safe Nuclear - Consumers rather than People - need we say more? Pro-industry terminology has much colonized mainstream and progressive media, and public school curriculums - and is the mothertongue of civilization.
