Biography of Shaykh `Abdullaah ibn Muhammad ibn Sa`d Aal Khaneen: His Place and Date of Birth: Village of Na`jan, Al-Kharj, 90 km south of Riyaadh. He was born in 1376 A.H. His Post: A member of the Committee for Scholarly Research and Iftaa of the Council of Senior Scholars His Experience: 1. Member of the Council of Senior Scholars in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 2. Participant in teaching in the High Judicial Institute of the Imaam Muhammad ibn Saud Islaamic University. 3. Supervisor discussing the theses at the Masters Degree and Doctorate levels in a number of Saudi universities. 4. Participant and attendant in a number of local and regional seminars and symposiums related to Fiqh, judiciary, arbitration, endowment, and Islaamic economy. 5. Scholarly arbiter of research and scholarly works in the fields of Fiqh, judiciary, criminal investigation, and related systems. 6. Member of a number of judiciary-related committees. 7. Participant in the Committee of Islaamic Affairs in the Shoora Council for studying the projects of some systems. 8. Participant in a number of scholarly lectures related to judiciary and criminal investigation in several bodies. 9. Participant in lessons, lectures, and scholarly symposiums at masaajid. His Previous Posts: After graduating in 1398 A.H., he worked as Assistant Judge in the General Court in Riyaadh and then as a judge in the general courts. He worked as a judge in the General Court of Riyaadh on 25 Sha`baan, 1405 A.H. and then as a judge in the Court of Cassation of Riyadh on 25 Ramadan, 1424 A.H. until 5 Rabee` Al-Awwal, 1426 A.H. After that, he was transferred to issuing Fatwas under the Royal Decree no. A/12 on 2 Rabee` Al-Awwal, 1426 A.H. and he proceeded his work on 6 Rabee` Al-Awwal, 1426 A.H. His Educational Background: He graduated from the Educational Institute at Ad-Dalm (preparatory and secondary school) and received B.A. in Sharee`ah from the Faculty of Sharee`ah in Riyaadh in 1398 A.H.
